Ded Sheppard

Ded Sheppard pushes all musical boundaries until they start to break at the seams and has been provoking the status quo in music for a number of years. He has composed original music and sound design for video game projects working with Electronic Arts and Source Sound and has been a pioneer in interactive music for applications and video games. He has formerly produced under the name Code Blue, collaborating with Germany’s legendary The Panacea; their track “Graveyard Twist” was released on Position Chrome and played live by Aphex Twin at Coachella in his history of electronic music set. “The rise of Ded Sheppard has been a long time coming” they say, and this is definitely true; his training has paid off ten fold. Ded Sheppard is a relatively new project - a product of wanting to create something new, a fresh perspective for him and his electronic music futurepast. His first solo EP under his new moniker debuted in 2015, a genre bending, sound design heavy, watery EP that “showcase [his] cerebral, masterfully balanced take on bass music.” His next tracks "1bad1" and "Embers" were released on Onset Audio. Ded Sheppard's sound was described by Noisia as “Evolving tribal techno stuff”. His latest EP "Assembling Silence" featured a remix by Homemade Weapons. Ded Sheppard has found his stride, and he challenges himself everyday with creating viral and primal music.
