Kofi Kinaata has finally revealed the song he listen before he perform in an event.

Three times best songwriter of the year at Ghana Music Awards Kofi Kinaata has revealed the kind of songs he listens to before he climbs the stage to perform at any event.

The Takoradi is born multiple award-winning music icon is currently in the Western Region to say thank you to the people of Sekondi/Takoradi for their support all these years and for voting for him to win the three awards at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.





In an exclusive interview with Yoofi Eyeson on Spice 91.9 FM in Takoradi, Kofi Kinaata was asked how he writes the songs that have made him one of the most prolific songwriters of our generation.

"I'm a fan of reggae music since childhood and that has influenced my songwriting. I take most of the inspiration from the songs that I listen to. Whenever I'm down those songs inspire me to do more. - Kofi Kinaata mentioned.

When I'm about to perform at an event and I'm down I play a couple of songs from Culture and that will ginger me to go and perform. - Kofi Kinaata said.

He also revealed that his annual event dubbed " Made In Taadi Concert" will be held at the Jubilee park if the government eases the restrictions on public gathering due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
