HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW

Been two years, my head got cleared I felt like I was moving on

No more tears, I'm building my career And I've been doing good alone

But just like that I fell to tap And spun around and it was her

Still intact, in fact she seemed happy Talking to me so mature

We had a little chat, the happy and the sad She said she was surprised we talked

She thought I'd get mad, I said why'd you think that She said cause you ignored my calls

I said not true, no I wouldn't do that When you left I broke my phone

I got mad, the screen got cracked I had to take it to the store

She said oh, I tried to reach you To say I miss you

Thought I could get you back But how was I supposed to know
