Take Control

There are days where I wake up ready to change the world

Discover things that haven't been explored

But as the day goes on I start lose control

And end up spending hours on my phone

I wish that I could say it's only happened once or twice

But at this point it's been most of my life

I'm ashamed of all these actions - I get so dang distracted

And I can't change despite how hard I try

I'm longing for your presence - fill me up inside

Help me cast these idols aside

It's been far too long and I don't know how to fight
