Imperium

Hailing from South-West London, Imperium are an ambitious 5-piece heavy metal group. Each growing-up with the heavy influences of Motorhead, Pantera, Judas Priest, and of course Metallica, the band was kickstarted by friends Hardip (Sagoo - Lead Guitar) and Scott (Lomas - Rhythm Guitar), who realised their mutual love for Thrash. James (Hawes - Drums) then joined to form the bones of what would become Imperium.
Needing a vocalist, Scott asked a friend, Ben (Porter – Vocals) if he wanted to try out, and he brought the raw sound which was exactly what they were after. Then needing a bassist, after only a few hours of searching, Jean (Raphael - Bass Guitar) smashed the first audition. Imperium was complete.
Imperium started gigging around London in 2015, and by Summer 2017 enough material had been created to release their first demo, a self-titled 4-track, recorded at Powerhouse Studios. This boosted their popularity and gig requests flooded in from all over the UK. Whilst smashing gigs, material was written, and Imperium finalised an entirely new setlist during these tours.
Naturally, Imperium were hungry to record these creations, choosing Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios to produce their work. The first of these, ‘Here Comes the Night’ was released in April 2020, setting the tone for many more to follow.
