It's a dog eared worn down leather brown book

Sitting bottom shelf but still worth a look

Flip through the pages find something you like

Some wild ass tales 'bout too many Bud Lights

Straight to the point ain't no beatin' round the bush

A few sad chapters and mean left hooks

Starts a little slow I ain't got to the end

But here's where I'm at along with where I been

Yeah I'm tired of playing songs that ain't mine at night

So I turn on the TV drink some whiskey on ice

Check the weather channel for the next storm and when it's gonna roll through
