It's all I've ever known, ever since I was a kid

I would stay up all night, just rapping on my bed

Friends would wanna play all day, but I chose to write instead

Spittin' in kindergarten, onto my first track

It was my dad's and I always gotta thank him for that

He got me started, feeling the rhythm, rapping with precision

It was the beginning of a mission of something distant

I got the X-factor and all the essentials

But they ain't see my grinding from day to the night
